Privacy and referral links

Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising trackers on this site.

The matchers run in your browser. The floor area, lawn size and other answers you give are not sent to us or stored anywhere. If you open a matcher from a link with answers in its address, those answers are part of the address you followed, like any other link.

If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages help people. It sets no cookies and keeps no personal identifiers: visits are counted with a hash of the request that is discarded within a day, so we cannot recognise you or follow you to other sites.

When you follow a link to a store, we record which store, which page you were on, and the time, so we can tell which pages are useful. That record contains nothing about who you are.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request details such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Vercel's privacy policy covers that processing.

Store links pass through an address on this site starting with /go/ and then on to the store. Once you arrive, the store and any referral network it uses may set their own cookies, including one recording that you came from us, and their privacy policies apply from that point.
