Pick the Qrevo C Pro instead if long hair is your problem. Dreame's box holds only a rubber brush for this model, with its hair-cutting TriCut as an extra purchase, while Roborock builds a split-roller brush into the Qrevo C Pro and claims no tangling.

Both cost $799, both spin two mops that rise for rugs instead of coming off, and neither carries a camera. Dreame's dock rinses at 80 °C against 75 °C and rates its bag for 100 days. Roborock answers with a DuoDivide main brush it certifies against hair wrap.
Pick the L40 Ultra VE if
you clean more than one storey or a big floor plan. Dreame says it stores 4 maps and runs 230 minutes, against 180 minutes for the Roborock and no published map count.

In practice
In our matcher the pair tie on the simplest homes: a flat of hard floors, or a house with rugs and no pets. The Dreame pulls ahead for a two-storey townhouse, purely because Dreame states a map count and Roborock doesn't for this model. Add a pet and both drop out, since neither recognises obstacles with a camera.
Each lifts its pads clear of low rugs, 10.5 mm on the Dreame and 10 mm on the Roborock, so deep pile is off limits for both. Dreame's automatic detergent needs an optional module; the Qrevo C Pro has no detergent dispenser at all.
