The cheapest model that meets every requirement
Roborock Qrevo L, $699
If your home isn’t the one this list assumes, the answer changes: change it in the matcher.
Under a thousand dollars used to buy a robot that vacuumed and dragged a damp pad. At today's prices it buys a dock that empties the bin and washes a spinning or roller mop, as long as the store's sale lasts.
The case is a modest single-storey home with hard floors and rugs, so the mop also has to lift at least 10 mm or come off before it reaches the pile.
What it has to have
- Spinning or roller mop the dock washes. Hard floors get mopped on every run, so the mop needs scrubbing action and a dock that rinses it between rooms.
- Mop lifts 10 mm or comes off. Rugs stay dry when the mop lifts clear of the pile or is left at the dock.
- Dock empties the bin. Over 100 m² a robot's onboard bin fills before the house is done.

How to choose
Most of what fits is discounted. Roborock Store ANZ shows the Qrevo L at $699 against $1,599, and Ecovacs lists the Deebot T80 Omni at $812, down from $2,299. A sale ending can reorder this page, which is why we re-check prices and re-rank from the same rules.
Two cheaper robots miss for reasons worth knowing. Ecovacs's Deebot T50 Omni costs $624 but lifts its mop only 9 mm, just short of our rug rule; in a home without rugs it fits. The Deebot N20 Plus at $399 empties itself but drags a flat pad that its dock never washes.
