eufy E18 vs Ecovacs GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro
Prices and specs checked
Our verdict
The GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro: at the same price it is rated for more lawn and steeper ground, and it trims its own edges.
- Lawn
- GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro: 2,000 m²
- E18: 1,200 m²
- Slope
- GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro: 50%
- E18: 33%
- Finds its way
- GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro: LiDAR + camera
- E18: Camera only
Pick the E18 instead if your lawn is flat and under its rated area, and you'd value a garage in the box, 4G tracking and a 2 years warranty over Ecovacs's 1 year.

The two are $0.95 apart, so the specs decide. Ecovacs rates the A2000 for 2,000 m² and 50%, cuts a 330 mm swath and carries a built-in edge trimmer. eufy rates the E18 for 1,200 m², on a slope we convert from its published degrees to 33%.
Pick the GOAT A2000 LiDAR Pro if
your block slopes or runs past the eufy's rating. No cheaper mower here suits our large block with two lawns.

In practice
eufy's own pages disagree on the E18's slope, quoting a percentage that doesn't match its degrees, so we use the lower figure. That is what keeps it out of our sloping-block case, where the Ecovacs fits.
Both find their way without a satellite station, the eufy by cameras alone and the Ecovacs by LiDAR with a camera, so tree cover doesn't count against either in our matcher. Ecovacs sells its garage separately and protects the A2000 with a PIN rather than GPS tracking.
