Dreame A1 Pro
Price and specs checked
Our take
Fits 3 of our 8 typical lawns, the cheapest fit in 1
Half price at Dreame's own store, $1,499 against $2,999, the A1 Pro is the cheapest mower here rated for 2,000 m². It steers by one 3D LiDAR sensor with no wire and no RTK station, and Dreame mentions no camera.
Pick another if your lawn looks like one of these: 500 m² front and back, gentle slope; 600 m² with big trees, two lawns; 800 m² steep block, 60%; and 2 more.

Good for
A single large, open lawn with slopes up to 45%. Dreame says it heads back to the station when rain starts and picks the job up again once it stops, and that its LiDAR sees seventy metres out across a wide field of view.
Watch out for
A second lawn is a second map that needs its own charging station, bought separately, so our matcher doesn't count it for front and back lawns. Dreame's rated area is its efficient-mode figure; in standard mode it quotes about half that in a day. Theft protection is an alarm and an app warning when the mower is lifted, with no GPS tracking.
Living with it
The package is just the mower and its station, so there is little to install: map the boundary in the app, mark any no-go zones, and set the cutting height between 30–70 mm from your phone. The deck is 220 mm wide.
Dreame's warranty table lists 2 years for the A1 Pro, though the policy's own wording describes only vacuums. The struck-through price is the one Dreame displays; it doesn't say when the A1 Pro last sold for that.
