Dreame Aqua10 Roller
Price and specs checked
Our take
Fits 6 of our 12 typical homes
Dreame's roller robot washes its mop at 100 °C and climbs a single step of 42 mm, both well past the Roborock and Ecovacs rollers. At $1,399 it fits most homes with hard floors and rugs, but in each of them a cheaper roller fits as well.
Pick another if your home looks like one of these: 200 m² two-storey, carpet, a pet; 250 m² two-storey, rugs, heavy shedders; 120 m² house, mostly carpet, no pets; and 3 more.

Good for
Homes with door sills, hallway steps or tracks that stop other robots. It sprays fresh water onto the roller as it goes and scrapes the dirty water off, Dreame says, so it mops without returning to rinse. A cover seals the roller over carpet as it lifts 14 mm, and the camera suits a home with pets.
Watch out for
Dreame publishes no run time, so for a home over 200 m² our matcher can't confirm it finishes in one charge. At 120 mm it is the tallest robot in our table, so low furniture is out of reach. Parts of Dreame's page describe its pricier sibling, the Aqua10 Ultra Roller.
Living with it
The dock does more than the cheaper rollers' docks: it adds detergent on its own, dries the roller with hot air and empties dust into a bag Dreame rates for 100 days. Dreame's Australian comparison page says it keeps 4 floor maps, and its warranty runs 3 years, longer than Roborock's or Ecovacs's on these models.
