Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

Our take
Fits 9 of our 12 typical homes, the cheapest fit in 1
Only Dreame's Matrix10 Ultra fits more of our typical homes, and it costs $1,000 more. At $999 this is the cheapest robot we list for a large two-storey house with heavy shedders. Its wide roller mop lifts 15 mm and a shield drops over it for carpet.
Pick another if your home looks like one of these: 200 m² two-storey, carpet, a pet; 120 m² house, mostly carpet, no pets; 60 m² unit, carpet, under $700.

Good for
Busy homes with pets and rugs over one or more levels. It has the things our matcher asks of a pet home (a camera that Roborock says recognises over 200 kinds of object, a DuoDivide brush and a self-emptying dock), plus a published 4-floor map count and 242 minutes of quiet running.
Watch out for
It can't drop its roller the way the Saros models drop their pads, so a house of mostly carpet is the one place it fails our rules. At 119 mm it is also the tallest Roborock we list, so it won't reach under low beds. There's no detergent dispenser.
Living with it
A roller mop works differently from spinning pads. Roborock's SpiraFlow roller is rinsed and scraped as it turns, so the robot keeps mopping with clean water instead of returning to the dock mid-room. The dock then washes it at 75 °C and dries it with warm air.
The run-time figure is Roborock's; its store's own spec table prints a slightly lower one.
