The cheapest robot we list whose dock both washes and dries its mops: $624, against a listed $1,299. It is the cheapest match for a small flat with hard floors, and little else, because its mops rise only 9 mm, just under the 10 mm we set for rugs.

Good for
Apartments and units with tiles, timber or vinyl throughout and no pets. It is slim, 81 mm tall with its laser built into the body, so it slides under furniture that blocks turret-topped robots. Both the side brush and a mop pad reach out to edges.
Watch out for
Ecovacs lists its obstacle avoidance as infrared and structured light; the RGB camera it mentions is for edge cleaning, so we don't count camera recognition and pet homes drop it. Ecovacs gives the wash temperature two ways on one page. There's no published map count for a second storey.
Living with it
The dock rinses the pads in water heated to 75 °C and dries them with warm air, and its three-litre dust bag and four-litre clean-water tank match those on the dearer T80. Run time reaches 225 minutes on the quietest vacuum setting. Ecovacs showed a coupon code and a cheaper bundle with cleaning solution when we checked; the price here is the robot alone, before codes. The warranty covers 2 years.
